Picdish Inc. ("Picdish" or "we") is an application that connects people who love food.
After downloading our application, you'll be able to share delicious moments, showcase your culinary talent, find inspiration in other Picdish users, and discover adventures around the world as they happen. As discussed in more detail below in the section entitled "When and How Does Picdish Share the Information that it Receives," Picdish is an open network. Any information that you post to the Picdish application may be available to other Picdish users as well as to any visitors to our Picdish website.
Picdish values your privacy. Please read this policy (the "Policy") to understand the personal information that we collect from you and how we may use and disclose that information.
This Policy applies to picdish.com (the "Site"), any online or mobile Picdish application ("Application"), and all services offered or made available through the Site or the Application (the "Services") by Picdish.
By visiting the Site, using any of the Services, downloading or logging into our Application, you agree that your personal information will be handled as described in this Policy, which is incorporated by reference into the Picdish Terms of Service, available picdish.com/terms

You may sign into our Application directly or through Facebook Connect. During the log-in process and when users first visit the Application, we may collect the following:
You may create an account/user profile through our Service. As part of this account information, we may collect – at your discretion – a brief description about you, a website address, your full name, email address, and a profile picture. In addition, Picdish invites users to share their experiences with food; as such, we will collect any information that you choose to upload to our Service.
When you sign in through Facebook Connect, Picdish requests your permission to: access your basic information, including, your name, profile picture, gender, list of friends and user ids, email address, and any other information you have set to public on your Facebook account; send email directly to you; post to your wall; and access your data at any time even if you are not using Facebook. Please note, if you allow Picdish to have access to this information, then Picdish will have access to this information even if you have chosen not to make that information public. For information about how Facebook may disclose your information, including any information you make public, please consult the Facebook Privacy Policy. We have no control over how Facebook uses or discloses the personal information you provide to it. We store the information that we receive from Facebook along with other information that we collect from you or receive about you.
We may use cookies, web beacons, and other automated devices to collect information about you when you visit our Site and use our Services. Specifically, we may collect the following information about your use of the Site via these technologies: your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; your interaction with the Application; length of time you are logged in to our Site and our Application; the friends that you invite to use our Services; and website visited before our Site. Picdish is an open network. That means that any information that you post to the Application may be available to all other users of the Application. The information that you post to the Application also may be viewable at our website, picdish.com, and, therefore, will be viewable not only to all Picdish users, but also to all visitors to our Site. As part of the Application, you may be able to create a link that will send your friends directly to information that you have posted on the Application, e.g., picdish.com/yourname. Please be advised that this link is not a private link and any person may be able to view the information posted at this link.
We do not sell or rent our users' personally identifiable information. As described below, we may share your information, including personally identifiable information, with other Picdish users; third parties for marketing purposes; as well as to assist us in operating our Site and Providing our Services.
As stated above, the Application is an open network, and any information that you submit to the Application may be viewable by all users of our Application and all visitors to our Site. Users may submit their own content to the Application, including text and pictures. Users also may submit information to our Site, such as responding to blog postings. Picdish is not responsible for the privacy of any information that you choose to submit through this Application, Site, our Services, or through any public forum, such as a blog, or for the accuracy of any information contained in those postings. Any information that you disclose becomes public information. We cannot prevent such information from being used in a manner that may violate this Policy, the law, or your personal privacy.
At times, the Site or the Application may contain links to other third party websites. Any access to and use of such linked websites is not governed by this Policy, but, instead, is governed by the privacy policies of those third party websites, and we are not responsible for the information practices of such third party websites.
We have implemented commercially reasonable precautions, including, where appropriate, password protection, encryption, and SSL to protect our Site and the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security all of the time.
You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your password private. Also, you should never share your log-in information with others. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity. To change your Facebook password, you must go to the Facebook site and follow its procedures for changing your password.
You may delete any photographs that you have uploaded to the Application. While your photographs may be removed from the current, user-accessible portions of the Application, they may remain in our systems for a period of time. You also may deauthorize the Picdish application from your Facebook page. Please note that your Picdish user id and profile picture may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Site or Application.
You also may modify any Profile Information that you have submitted directly through our Services. If you would like to access or modify your Facebook profile information, or adjust the types of information we receive from Facebook, you must adjust your Facebook account settings directly through Facebook. We have no control over how Facebook shares your information with us or other third parties. The information you provide to Facebook is subject to the Facebook privacy policy.
If we send you any news and newsletters, special offers, promotions or other information we think may interest you, you may tell us to stop sending you such e-mail communications by following the opt-out instructions contained in any such e-mail. Please note that it may take up to 10 days for us to process opt-out and opt-in requests. Further, if you opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.
As noted above, to adjust the types of information about you that we receive from Facebook, your must change your Facebook account settings directly through Facebook.
Your use our Site or Services, as well as any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Use picdish.com/terms, including applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes.
